The Wayne County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing Tuesday, June 2, 2026 to consider a proposed amendment to the Wayne County Zoning Map. The hearing will be held at 9:15 am in the Wayne County Commissioners Meeting Room, Wayne County Courthouse Annex, 224 East Walnut Street, Goldsboro, NC. The item to be discussed:

Notice is hereby given that the Wayne County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on June 2, 2026, at 9:30 am in the Commissioners Meeting Room in the Wayne County Courthouse Annex, 224 E. Walnut St., Goldsboro, NC.
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments regarding economic incentives for Project Pioneer. The Board of Commissioners will consider an incentive grant of up to 30% of new real and personal property tax revenues payable over ten (10) years in exchange for the company’s commitment to invest up to $756,000,000 in capital improvements and create up to 9 jobs in Wayne County.
All interested parties are invited to attend this public hearing and be heard. Written comments may be made in advance to the following:

Notice is hereby given the County Manager’s proposed budget for Wayne County for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, was presented to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners on May 19, 2026, and a copy thereof is on file for public inspection in the office of the Clerk to the Board in Room 466 in the Wayne County Courthouse Annex, 224 E. Walnut Street, Goldsboro, North Carolina. The budget is also available on the county website at www.waynegov.com.
Notice is hereby given the Wayne County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room in the Wayne County Courthouse Annex, 224 E. Walnut Street, Goldsboro, North Carolina, at which time all citizens have a right to appear and give oral or written comments pertaining thereto. The public may view the hearing on www.youtube.com/@WayneCountyGovernment.
Written comments may be made to the Clerk to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners before the public hearing. The Clerk will make those written comments available to all members of the Wayne County Board of Commissioners prior to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners’ vote on the budget.
