Goldsboro’s District 5 has a new representative.

  1. Why hasn’t the city approved the civil war trail sign on Center street? We have honored all other veterans downtown but not this black troop.
What is the reason the NC tourist board can’t honor this group downtown?

    1. The marker was discussed at the last meeting and the option of placing it on Center was met with positive comments from the council. I’m not sure what you’re referring to, because no one refused. I believe the city is working with the group that requested the marker to have it placed.
