PLANNING ORGANIZATION — PRIORITIZATION 8 REGIONAL PROJECTS LOCAL INPUT POINT ALLOCATION
Notice is hereby given that the Draft Prioritization 8 (P.8) Regional Projects Local Input Point Allocation of the Goldsboro Metropolitan Planning Organization has been released for a 30-day public comment period.
Prioritization 8 (P.8) refers to the prioritization process that guides the development of the 2028-2037 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), the main vehicle for transportation improvement funding in the state as set by the State Transportation Investments (STI) Law. This process began in the Summer of 2025.
The goal of the Goldsboro MPO is to ensure a continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive approach for transportation planning for the metropolitan area, both short and long-range.
The Draft Prioritization 8 (P.8) Regional Projects Local Input Point Allocation can be viewed at its entirety on the City’s website:
