Members of the Goldsboro City Council filled the board’s vacant District 1 seat Monday evening.
Hiawatha Jones, who lost her 2019 bid for the post by 75 votes, will replace Antonio Williams, who resigned from the council late last year after his election to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners.
