Cougars escape in Princeton
PRINCETON — Two varsity games.
Two razor-thin wins for Goldsboro High School at Princeton.
After blowing out most of their opponents this season, the Cougars barely squeaked by the Bulldogs Tuesday evening.
The Lady Cougars, who seemed rattled at times by the raucous crowd, blew a fourth-quarter lead and nearly lost as well.
Girls game: GHS 35, Princeton 33
Boys game: GHS 62, Princeton 57
