Wayne UNC hospital locked down due to alleged “active shooter”
Law enforcement have blocked the entrances to Wayne UNC Health Care and according to staff members inside the hospital, people are barricaded in various rooms due to an “active shooter” on the grounds.
Various law enforcement agencies, including the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Goldsboro Police Department and State Highway Patrol are on the scene.
