Goldsboro Mayor Chuck Allen was honored by the North Carolina Department of Transportation Friday morning during a ceremony inside the Wayne County Courthouse, where “Chuck Allen Highway” — a strip of the U.S. 70 Bypass, between North Berkeley Boulevard and North Beston Road — was officially dedicated.
