Thousands have been distributed across Wayne County and copies are still available everywhere from Goldsboro City Hall and the downtown businesses that surround it to the public library, local schools, restaurants and bars.
But for those of you who have not yet secured a copy of our latest edition of our sister publication, “Eastbound & Downtown” — and those who have written us requesting the ability to read the magazine electronically — we decided to bring it to you here.
Inside its pages, you will learn about Wayne County’s resolve during an unprecedented period of uncertainty.
You will meet artists, business owners, volunteers, community leaders and teachers who, in their darkest hours, had no choice but to forge ahead.
And we expect you will come to realize that because they did, this community is in the midst of a comeback that will leave it stronger than it was before COVID-19 pushed us to the brink.
We hope you find their stories as inspiring as we do.
