Drive-by shooting leaves man injured, neighborhood shaken

At just before 2 p.m. Sunday, the sound of gunfire rattled the residents of East Mulberry Street.

Moments later, people emerged from their houses and ran to the aid of a man bleeding on the sidewalk near the intersection of Mulberry and Pineview Avenue.

The man was loaded into an ambulance by Wayne County EMS first-responders and Goldsboro Police officers are currently interviewing those who witnessed the shooting.
