Wings Over Wayne pushed back to 2022
There will not be a Wings Over Wayne Air Show in 2021.
In a Facebook message posted this morning, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base officials said they would be pushing the event back to 2022, blamed the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic for the postponement and said moving the event would allow for more time to develop and implement proper safety measures.
The news dropped the same day Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair officials announced the cancellation of its annual event at the fairgrounds.
