Charles B. Aycock’s boys and girls varsity squads picked up much-needed conference victories Tuesday against South Johnston in Pikeville.
The girls relied on a barrage of made 3-point baskets and lockdown defense en route to a 28-point win, while the boys dominated the paint to emerge with an 8-point victory.
