For the first time since the tradition was conceived by Dr. H.V. Brown, the Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni and Friends Inc. Homecoming has been cancelled.
But members of the organization said scholarships will still be awarded this spring and encouraged the community to continue to donate to their cause.
Dillard/Goldsboro was featured in our spring edition of “Eastbound & Downtown,” as this year marks the 50th anniversary of the integration of Goldsboro High School.
