The biggest party of the summer took to downtown Goldsboro Saturday morning, as the Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni and Friends Homecoming Parade unfolded in front of the hundreds who lined Center Street.
There were representatives from various graduating classes, princesses, sororities and fraternities — even tractors.
But it was the future alumni — particularly the Goldsboro High School Mighty Marching Cougar Band and its drum major — who drew perhaps the biggest reaction from those in attendance.
